What do you call your genitals?
Today, I have a question for my readership, not about online hookups, but about what you call your genitals. Not to worry; this question does arise out of a hookup I arranged via CL recently, so it's relevant.
I'm accustomed to calling my body parts by various appropriate (and sometimes delightfully inappropriate) labels, or "it" or "they". I don't think of any of my body parts as specifically gendered (ie, I don't think of my pussy as "she"). Similarly, my lovers' penis is "it", their balls are "they", etc.
But I was with this fellow, and he called his penis "him". As in, "You want to touch him?" Now, I know most men name their penises, and perhaps this leads to a bit of personification. Is it common for you fellows to think of your penis as "him"? If so, do you talk about him that way with your lovers, or do you switch to "it" for your lovers' sakes?
Inquiring minds want to know!

Comments
I don't seriously personify my genitals, but when people ask me if I've named it, I jokingly say that my cock is named Polyphemus.
I'm always delighted when people get the joke.

No name, no nickname, no clever turns of phrase. Maybe I'm just boring that way. (Luckily I'm not boring in too many other ways!)
Besides, why should I give a bed partner a potential excuse to point and laugh at my genitalia? ;-)

Gosh that gives me the creeps giving genitilia a proper name and referring to it via a gendered pronoun. *shudder*
Actually, from my perspective there's really comfortable name that hasn't ben neutered (so to speak) by the porn industry into cliche and/or 'naughtyspeak'.
So I just point and grunt.

Personal thoughts about referenceing a male's penis as "him" would tell me one thing - this guy is way too into "him"self. It, Frankie, etc may be fun and entertaining in bed, but "him" is too self-centered.

He is "Dr.Wang", or "The Good Doctor". But seriously, when reduced to a pronoun, he's an it.
