Just because I slept with him doesn't mean I'll sleep with you
People sometimes gets confused about what it means to be a slut. I am a slut. But what does that mean? It means I like sex, and I enjoy it on a casual and non-casual basis. Some sluts like fucking strangers while others like sleeping around with their friends. Some of us do both.
But it's a mistake to think that slutty people don't have standards. My standards may be different from your standards... in fact, I hope they are, because, frankly, you're not getting laid enough for my tastes, and if we were competing for the same pool of sex, one of us would be cranky. But it makes me more than a little grouchy when I hear, "Well, you know CC, she'll sleep with anyone."
Don't mistake sluttiness for lack of discernment. This is like looking at the person who chooses different clothing from you and saying they have no taste. They have taste; it's just not taste you share. And you come off like a lame-ass middle class prig when you do it.
Yes, I mean you.

Keep telling yourself that.

I heartily agree. I've been reading your blog for long enough that I have a bit of a feel for your standards (intelligence, humor, reading/writing ability and imagination among other things) and they're reasonably similar to the ones I used to find my wife. And, should you be interested, you can read all about how well that turned out :)

Nice. As a guy trying to be more of a slut, I am being judged by my friends who suggest that I will sleep with anyone. They remind me that sleeping around is dangerous. (which tells my that they want it but are afraid to try it) An ex used to say to me, "all a woman would have to do is unzip your fly and you would be there." Of course I would, but that woman would have to get close enough to unzip me and not every woman can do that. It's like most things in life. People who set goals and know what they want are more likely to get it. My goal is to have more sex with more women. Knowing that reveals all the things I have to do to get there, like stay single, weigh less, dress better, figure out how to approach and talk to women, etc. And my time frame is not weeks but years. In my opinion, everyone wants to be a slut, but not every can admit it.

It took some of us almost 37 years to embrace our slut - but as I tell potentials - it doesn't mean I am a whore. I don't HAVE to fuck anybody - I have to want to....
