Is it me?
I know that not all 50 year old guys are skeevy. I mean, I have direct experience with non-skeevy 50 year old guys! And, yet, all the 50 year old guys I see on dating sites seem skeevy. Is it selection bias? Observation bias? A little of both? Or maybe I'm just not seeing the non-skeevy ones because they're busy responding to women closer to their own age?

I am a 55 year old non skeevy guy,I am a somewhat normal person.I rarely date women that I meet on the internet sites ,as they usually are not what they represent themselves to be.As I'm sure you ladies have had the same experience as I have. Now I am no george clooney, but I'm no pee wee herman,am I in shape?Well round is a shape isn't it? When someone has a catchy, flashy, opening line ,it's usually because it has been used alot, thats where skeevy comes in.Like fishing a flashy lure will draw them in and hook them, then what? You get stuck in a holding tank.Choose where you fish ,no bottom feeders.

nope, not just you at all. ALL the time i'd get hit on by skeevy "older" men - 50s and beyond. it got to the point where i'd just cringe as soon as the lines "how do you feel about dating an older guy" popped up on my computer. i mean, really, if you're at all possibly a peer of my father's, it's a big ol' HELL NO.
