Where oh where has CC been?
Forgive me, internet, for I have sinned. It has been 131 days since my last blog post ...
Several people, friends and fans alike, have asked me recently (and not so recently) what I'm doing with this blog. And my response has generally been along the lines of, "I'm going to get through the next couple of months and then try to figure it out." I don't really know if I'm through the next couple of months, yet, but I do know I want to figure it out.
I'm not having nearly as much casual sex as I was when I started writing here, and I don't feel particularly drawn to go back in that direction. And it's pretty unlikely that I'm going to have enough CL fodder to keep up this blog if I'm not actively pursuing that sort of thing. On the other hand, I have some friends who are, and they might be interested in posting here, too. So I might be bringing on some new faces to join me and Sapiophile.
I may also branch out into more general topics, still with a focus on sex and dating and the idiotic things people (including myself, I'm afraid!) do, either on the internet or in person. We can all learn from the painful mistakes of others, can't we?
It's been long enough that probably most of my regular readers have given up, but I'd be curious to hear from you ... if I change focus, or broaden it, or open things up to other posters, would it still be interesting? Or is it (belatedly) time to close up shop?

Comments
I hope that you keep posting on related topics, and bring in a few new people to keep up on the original topic.

You've been missed, but never forgotten. (I, for one, have had you on RSS since RSS was invented.) Many blogs have started out one way and evolved into something a little different (Talking Points Memo comes to mind), sustained by more writers with a similar outlook and similarly good writing. It's easy to forget that most readers don't comment, and because of that it's easy to forget that most readers like you no matter how often you post. So: once a day or once a year, your fans will appreciate you and enjoy your writing no matter what. More succinct: Don't stop! (Something we all like to hear. ;)

I've enjoyed your work here enough that I never considered taking you off of my feed reader, and I'm curious enough to give a fair shake to whatever it is you decide to do with this place next. Go forth and do as thou wilt!

While some of your hookup posts are totally hot, I find your writing style to be fun to follow regardless. Even if you end up married and committed to only having sex with one person ever again, I imagine you could find a topic of interest that you'd do well to write about.
And more guest writers would be fun, too. I doubt you'd have anyone from the sex-is-shameful crowd, and I imagine you'd be ashamed to have horrible writing pollute your blog, so I think it'd go well.

I'm still listening and would love to hear what you have to say.

RSS is great for sporadic blogs. Just keep writing and anything coming from you I'll definitely want to read it.

I would be interested in the expanded focus. Possibly the changed focus too, depending on where it went.

Please, the expanded focus would be fine. I've just finished the search for a regular FWB, am also trying to date.

Write about whatever you want. We'll still love you.

Count me among the scores of people who will read anything you write.
I've always found your writing style to be fun and engaging, and I would likely feel the same way even if you were writing about something dull like Norwegian Basket Weaving.
